Stonehenge: 20,000 people have celebrated the summer solstice at Stonehenge ahead of a “historic moment” in the £27 million transformation of the site.

Stonehenge evolved in several construction phases spanning at least 1,500 years. There is evidence of large-scale construction on and around the monument that perhaps extends the landscape’s time frame to 6,500 years . the site of Stonehenge and ‘was made in 3 different stages in the history (ca. 3100 BC), (ca. 3000 BC) last period (ca. 2600 BC).

It’a a  still a mystery unresolved, who built these stone circles and why? Many theories say that it is a calendar, ather say is a temple, but the truth  is  buried in history. each year attracts thousands of years if millions of people, who feel a special energy at Stonehenge on the day of the summer solstice, a marvel of creation of man and nature.
