Watkins, the famous esoteric bookshop in Cecil Court which had been closed for a very brief period, has opened again, bought by America Etan Ilfeld who owns an art gallery in the same street. And a new leaf of life has been turned for this beautiful bookshop more than 100 years old whose customers included Aleister Crowley and poet Yeats.
Apart from a great collection of antique books, mystical and esoteric publications, a large stock of tarot decks and everything for meditation, a flurry of activities has been organized for its loyal customers. The latest guest who attended one of these events has been Richard Lawrence, an international author of extraterrestrial topics and mind-body-spirit books. The talk given to the audience gathered in Watkins Bookshop few evenings ago regarded the presentation of his latest book “ UFO and the extraterrestrial message”. This book groups 30 years of experience in this particular field where secrets has been kept from everyone but few. During the talk topics like flying saucers , cover ups and lies, extraterrestrial signs in ancient records and religions cropped up, even if briefly given the limited time, but it has been just enough to keep the interest of the people attending this evening.
After the talk Mr Lawrence signed copies of his book for both customers and for the shop, so that who missed this evening can still buy the book made it more precious by the autograph of the author. Richard Lawrence will give a deeper talk on the same subject at the Inner Potential Centre in Fulham on the 2nd of November.
