Thursday the 17th of April Le Dame Art Gallery will give a Coppo sculpture, made by artist Lodovica Marinelli, to Salvatore D’Auria owner of Osteria dell’Angolo, 47 Marsham Street, Westminster SW1P 3DR.
Coppo is a unique work-of-art 100% Made in Italy. It is a two hundred year old roof tile that usually comes from Italian Medieval houses whose roofs need to be refurbished. After a long selection process, Coppo is dried in the oven at low temperatures and hand decorated. Each piece is numerated and signed by the artist.
Bespoke Coppo is designed respecting all the details of the façade as the one Lodovica realized for Osteria dell’Angolo.
The restaurant, renowned for Chef Massimiliano Vezzi delicious Italian traditional dishes, is off Horseferry Road, opposite the new Home office building and a very short distance walk from House of Parliament, Abbey of Westminster and Queen Elisabeth II conference Centre as well as 5 minutes walking from St James Park and Westminster tube stations.
“Coppo” is part of a Group Exhibition at Le Dame Art Gallery, 28 Powis Terrace, Notting Hill, W11 1JH.
