The Royal wedding is not only all pink and candy. Violent anarchists who rampaged through London during anti-cuts protests are planning to target the Royal wedding, police intelligence have suggested. Activists claim up to 1,500 hardcore militants plan to storm buildings around Trafalgar Square and The Mall, displaying obscene banners and obscuring the London skyline with billowing smoke as images of the wedding are beamed to millions of viewers around the world.
The group have even invited swingers from around the world to join them for the protest which will also be filmed as the alternative swinging Royal Wedding event. The dress code is simple, just balaclavas for men and balaclavas plus red lipstick for women. The Daily Express quotes ring leader Chris Knigfht as saying: “The top police are saying they’re enforcing a ring of steel, a sterile zone, around the route of the royal procession.
They are making it clear they want absolute monarchy on the day, a highly controlled Royal production, policed militarily with snipers on the roof. The last thing you want at a Royal Wedding is sterility. You want the opposite, fertility,” .
Scotland Yard officers are working urgently to identify the extremists who clashed with police and attacked landmarks on Saturday before they can strike again. London will spend $33 million on security to make sure Prince William and Kate Middleton don’t run into the same problems Charles and Camilla did when protestors managed to disrupt their motorcade last December.
Ed Miliband, the Labour leader, was under fire last night for speaking at the TUC march, during which the violence occurred.
