FIVE MUST HAVE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

LONDON – Finally the most popular festival in England has arrived: Christmas! One of the most exciting thing to do in this period is to start to decorate houses and to admire street lights and shop decorations!

The first thing that you notice while walking down the street are the house doors: they are like a preview of what we may find inside each house. People spend a lot of time trying to decorate them as best as possible. Unfortunately not all areas are decorated to the same standard, only in certain places can you “breath” the true Christmas atmosphere.

Don’t worry, even if your neighbours are not as creative as you but you want people to stop in front of your house to admire your door. All you have to do is arm yourself with the five #must-have-decorations.

1. WREATH. Even if the wreath is the most popular Christmas decoration, it still can’t be missed hanging on your door. It’s very easy to make it unique and different from the others, you can add pine cones, ribbons, balls and also some glitter.

2. LIGHTS. Christmas without lights? It doesn’t matter if they are white, yellow, red or green they have the power to create a fantastic Christmas atmosphere. You can place them around the front of your door, or use them to enrich your wreath. If you absolutely want people to notice your home, you can make the lights into different shapes, like snowflake, bells or reindeers.

If you want to make your tree different you can put on some puppets or even biscuits! To create a little North Pole outside your home, you have to get (or may construct it yourself), a rocking chair with some pillows on it. This will try to recreate a little corner of Santa’s home and make him feel welcome when he comes.

5. SANTA CLAUS. If you have children and you usually have fun together decorating your house at Christmas you can buy a Climbing Santa Claus puppet! Everyone will definitely stop to admire your home and the fairy-tale Christmas atmosphere you have recreated!
