St. Patrick’s Day at The Piano Works

St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th, will be celebrated with a party full of music at THE PIANO WORKS.
The band will be ready to perform all night long the most popular Irish songs .
Pints ​​of Guinness for just £ 3 from 3pm, in a bubbly atmosphere where Irish-style hats, wigs and disguises are highly encouraged.


Start with Happy Hour from 5pm to 8pm, with selected cocktails from £ 5.50 and bottles of Prosecco from £ 12.50.
You can book a table for your group of at least 8 people and get admission for £ 1 with a Guinness or Cocktail included.
The Piano Works is the only non-stop live music venues in London that play songs requested by the public. It hosts over 65 independent musicians from Great Britain and organize its  SingEasy evenings with non-stop  live music, in which pianists and singing waiters are at the center of the scene to play the songs requested by the public who can enjoy eccentric cocktails and delicious food.

A Boy Called Porro, each child is special, each child is loved

London – Un Bambino Di Nome (A Boy Called) Porro is Tricolore Theatre Company’s new magical bilingual play for children from 7-11 which premieres in London this autumn at Pleasance Theatre (Downstairs), Carpenters Mews, North Road, Islington N7 9EF.

On Saturdays 16th, 23rd, and 30th November at 4pm and Sundays 17th, 24th November and 1st December at 4pm.

The play, in English and Italian, features a life-sized puppet and live actors and tells a heart-warming story of a young boy’s journey from underdog to top dog as he travels through an enchanted world.  On the way, he meets a drowsy dormouse, a petulant penguin, a daring dog and a band of musicians who see the potential in the little boy whose hair is too vertical, whose ears are too small and who is always late.

Written by Penny Culliford and directed by Anthony Shrubsall, with original score by Stefan Potiuk, and with a cast of professional Italian and English actors, the play combines Tricolore’s expertise in appealing to English and Italian audiences, young and old, with captivating storytelling, energetic performances and innovative staging. Designed by Offie Nominated Alys Whitehead and Sound & Lighting by Offie Commended Chuma Emembolu.

Tricolore’s previous productions, all written by Penny Culliford, include Saffron Hill (also directed by Anthony Shrubsall), La Catena d’Oro (The Golden Chain) and The Gingerbread Man (L’Ometto di Pan Pepato) a bilingual play for younger children that toured to Rome.
